Strong Hold

Strong Hold is a playful exploration into the intuitive constructions of children’s forts. I brought an old couch from my parent’s home into the A21 gallery space in Oakland and conducted amateur tests on the compressive strength of the pillows, the tensile strength of the blankets, playing with volume and light, seeking to illicite some since of the free spirit found in such structures.
