A Few Small Events

A Few Small Events was the title of my solo show at the Isabell Percy West gallery in Oakland California. For the exhibition, I chopped wood and carried water, created site specific installations responding to the gallery’s unusual architectural qualities and organized a feast where visitors could eat food with their hands, converse and participate in the washing of their bowls and plates. Themes of conviviality, playfulness and community were core to the show.
