Bric a Brac

This project was built in collaboration with the artist Tania Colette B. as an experiment in archiving soils through the production of a brick library. We fabricated a metal compressed earth block (CEB) press and traveled to different natural areas to sample soils for brick making. We then exhibited these bricks on the shelves of the California College of the Arts library.
